Cells at War: Cell Casters

Cell Casters was created for the Cells at War project and developed in collaboration with George Brown College and McMaster University. The game is a turn-based multiplayer RPG playable by up to five people, with each player taking the role of a different organelle in a human beta cell.

The story follows five organelles living inside the body of grade 10 student Victor Navarro. Together, they fight against glucose spikes in Victor’s body by producing insulin to break down blood sugar, giving Victor the energy he needs to deal with the challenges of everyday life.

Daulton Scott wrote the characters and dialogue for Cell Casters and designed the turn-based RPG-inspired gameplay. A playable version is currently in development.
